Hi, my name is Yumi and I am a quarter British, a quarter Burmese, and half Japanese. I was raised in Hong Kong. I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Psychology – this is where I found my passion for understanding childhood development and education. I have a few years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, and this will be my second year at PLKIS. I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a homeroom teacher through the University of Sunderland’s Postgraduate Certificate in Education, whilst enjoying my time working alongside a wonderful team.
Get to know me more: I am a big #foodie but if I had to choose, Japanese and Thai cuisines are my favorite. I’m a big fan of amusement parks, especially those with thrilling rides. I take part in boxing and Muay Thai to stay active.
