My name is Rosie Hopewell-Fong. I was born in Hong Kong and attended international schools here before continuing my education in the UK.
I have a BSc in Sport Performance, a Primary and Secondary PGCE, and an MA in International Education. I have been teaching and coaching a number of sports for over 10 years, in addition to representing Hong Kong as a member of their national 7s and 15s rugby teams. Consequently, I am a firm believer in empowering students and colleagues to appreciate the value of being active and making healthy lifestyle choices.
As PYP Coordinator, I am excited about supporting our teachers to consolidate the implementation of the whole school curriculum and programmes in line with the recommendations of the IB Verification Report. I am also excited to continue to work as a colleague in this progressive, visionary school team that has high expectations for both students and teachers. I look forward to having the opportunity to share my experiences further with everyone.
