My name is Perry Tkachuk. I’m from the USA and my wife is from Myanmar. I graduated with a degree in Physical Geography from U.C. Berkeley and then earned a Master’s Degree in Cross-cultural Education from National University, San Diego. I also hold a Certificate of International School Leadership from The Principal’s Training Center and have recently completed coursework through the Academy of International School Heads.
During my 20+ years as an educator, I’ve been a teacher, PYP Coordinator or administrator at schools in the USA, Guatemala, Malaysia, Myanmar and Mainland China. I am also an Accreditor with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
I’m very excited to be working with and leading the entire school learning community to build on the strong foundation that has been created by so many during the first few years of HKCA Po Leung Kuk School’s history.
