Hello! My name is Pansy Yu. I was born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong.
After completing my BA in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from the University of British Columbia, I moved back to Hong Kong to work as an Assistant Teacher while completing my PGCE qualification.
As a teacher, I value building strong, meaningful relationships with my students. I aim to create a safe and engaging environment in the classroom, providing pupils the freedom to make and learn from mistakes. By doing so, I believe that pupils will then become confident learners who can perform to their potential.
Both my education and teaching experiences have provided me with a secure understanding of the IB curriculum. I am excited to join the Grade 1 team and learn with our children at school!
