Hi. My name is Marilyn Cowler. I am from the Philippines, where I originally graduated with a BSc in Accountancy. However, I discovered my passion for teaching as an educational assistant at an ESF Kindergarten after moving to Hong Kong. I subsequently completed my PGDE in Early Years Education at Hong Kong Institute of Education and started my full-time teaching career.
Over the last 10 years I have taught in both local and international schools with 4 years in a PYP learning environment. In my experience, developing students’ curiosity, confidence and capacity to learn independently is very rewarding and produces great results in the children.
I love outdoor activities like hiking and trail running and I am an enthusiastic cook. I look forward working with you and the children.
