Grade 4 Assistant Teacher

Return to Profiles

Hi, my name is Kaya and I was born in the old Nethersole hospital on Bonham road, HK. I spent my upper primary and all my secondary school years in the beautiful seaside town of Margaret River in Western Australia.

I studied Fashion and Textile Merchandising at the RMIT University in Melbourne, before successfully launching and operating a wedding and events planning business set in amongst the stunning beaches and vineyards of Margaret River.

Since returning to Hong Kong in 2016, I have been involved in pre-primary school learning environments. That encouraged me to enrol in the PGCE from Sunderland University to qualify as a primary school teacher. So, I am thrilled to be working as an assistant teacher at this school and contribute positively to the development of the students, as well as having the opportunity of working alongside such wonderful staff.

I am living in Stanley with my partner and have a keen interest in animal welfare, adventure travel, fashion and culture, and living a healthy and active lifestyle.
