I started my teaching career in 1980 after graduating from the University of London in the UK, with an honours degree in Education. Since then, I have been a teacher or administrator at international schools in Japan, Kenya, India and Mainland China before moving to Hong Kong in 2016 to establish this new school.
I hold a certificate in International School Leadership from the Principals’ Training Centre in London and a certificate in Pedagogical Leadership from the International Baccalaureate (IB). I am a School Authorisation Consultant and Visiting Team Leader for the IB, as well as an Accreditor for the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
I am passionate about creating the very best learning environments for students and teachers by building learning organisations and uniting communities through the development of a shared vision and mission, common goals, and a relentless focus on effective student learning, growth and well-being.
