Hi, my name is Daniel Chapman. I was born and raised in Hong Kong and studied in the UK for university. I moved back to Hong Kong 9 years ago. I have been working in various schools in Hong Kong for the past 4 years and in 2019 I decided to complete my PGCE. Since then, I have worked in a few international schools around Hong Kong as a Physical Education Teacher. Before teaching, I was coaching various sports, including gymnastics and swimming.
My favorite sports growing up were football, rugby, swimming and athletics. I continue to be an avid sports lover and play rugby to this day. My favorite sports team (Football team) is Newcastle United. I am also a big board game fan and I believe that a lot can be taught and learned from playing games.
I am a firm believer in lifelong participation and that all students should have access to Physical Education in order to learn and understand the importance of health from a young age. In my classes, I want students to be the best that they can be and to grow and love sports in their own way.
