My name is Bianca Koster. I’m from the Netherlands and my family and I are excited to be in Hong Kong.
I have an MA in Multidisciplinary Studies, and am an International Baccalaureate Workshop Leader, Team Visitor and Reader in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as a School Accreditation Team Visitor for the Council of International Schools.
After a few years teaching in the Netherlands, I became an international educator in 1995, on the beautiful island of Curacao in the Dutch Antilles. I then worked in the USA before moving to Ghana, where I was Principal of the Dutch School. I moved to China to be one of the founding teachers at a new international school, and there became the PYP Coordinator, Vice Principal and eventually Principal.
I’m a passionate, lifelong learner who, as the founding PYP Coordinator and now Vice Principal as well, likes to inspire people to be critical thinkers and bring out the best in themselves and others.
